Review
Death by C*ck by Susan Mac Nicol
One of the Fetish Alley series with investigative detectives Clay and Tate on the trail of a murderer who used a very bizarre murder weapon!
This book was written by my personal friend and very talented author, Susan Mac Nicol, and is one in her darker 'Fetish Alley' series.
The intriguing title alone is enough to compel you to pick it up, and I loved it so much I have actually read it twice.
Sue excels at creating believable, well-grounded characters, writing with a gritty rawness and an effortless style that makes the story leap off the page.
The two leads, Clay and Tate are a brilliantly crafted couple. Both very far from perfect, but their flaws define interesting dynamics between them, and the raw edge is precisely what makes them work so well; they balance each other perfectly, drawing on each other’s strengths as they assist the police in solving crimes.
The vibrant supporting cast of the Fetish Alley setting brings the entire narrative to life, particularly during the investigation of a crime centred around a taxidermy studio.
It is a fun, sexy and captivating read with strong MM romance and some wonderfully steamy scenes.
